Love

LOVE (Fuel of life):
In the world sans love
Says tear fall from flower petals
In the world sans music
Nightingale sits wailing in graveyard
Seek happiness within tear and trauma
No death; chose life- an ecstatic life
Do not weep in this moment
Be blithe, cheerful and laugh
Although life is hard for happiness….

As depicted in the above stanza, love is inevitable for human beings. Even the flower withers in absence of love; the surrounding becomes graveyard. Love is fuel to drive/ live life just like oil for oil lamp. Love is the language that deaf can hear and blind can see. Love blooms only in surrender in totality; physically-mentally- spiritually. Everything melts and flows in presence of love with positive vibration all around. Love generates the feeling of caring-sharing and growing together. Unconditional love comes from the core of bosom with a tingling touch mixed with fun and fear but ultimately blissful experience. It does not know the conjunctions like because, and, so, but; saying "I love you" because you belong to rich family or you are very beautiful or you work in a nice office or you can care me. It is all intentional - conditional love.

Once a boy said "My dear, I love you so much- I can even write on my wrist with needle". Where should I put you name- in my hand or chest? The girl answered " No need to write on your hand or chest but just put my name in your property paper first". ha ha ha !

Just like the above conversation, modern peoples' love is all conditional and provoked from Swadhistana Chakra related to emotion and passion. If it comes from the heart, the lover does not know why and how, just it simply comes from the core of heart spontaneously. No logic and reason at all. Also we need to understand that love is not always joyful. We need to accept and flow realizing inseparable part of our life. The person you love the most will hurt you the most too. When happy, people enjoy music and when sad, people enjoy lyrics. Love burns, hurts and makes us strong. Love teases, eases and makes us strong. If it does not hurt, it is just a mosquito bite. Real love gives you tears to feel, realize and cleanse from the heart core.

Yes loving is a painful thrill
Not to love more painful still,
But Oh!  it is the worst of pain
Once loved and not loved again.

There is a vast difference in between like & Love. If somebody says "I like flower"- he immediately plucks it but if he says "I love flower"-then he gives water and cares much. Thus, like is more connected with physical liking and crave to possess whereas ‘Love’ gives care in totality. The modern world have adopted very wrong concept that just liking and wanting is love. Many people suffer lifetime for just adopting wrong concept and not finding true love. They don’t know that love is sacrifice and it must be unconditional. It is merely giving with head and heart rather desiring to get something. It brings joy in the fullest form and contentment once we accept all embracing love with surrender.

LIFE (meaning and goal)

Millions of poets have posed and expressed their opinion about love and life but not able to know its true meaning. The definition of love, life and death differs from person to person. However, the ultimate answer shall be; breathing and living in 'now' is life. If we do not breathe- no life and if we cannot live in present moment then it is not living either because past is already pass and future not yet. The both time frame is not in your hand. Just living in 'now' is life. Likewise, the way of living is life regardless of a farmer life or a doctor life. The quality of life is measured not by luxury car and villa they own but the sincere smile and innocent lovingness around. Accepting whatsoever the circumstance is life. Physical life is a journey from womb to tomb. It is a great loss to human when people cannot laugh by heart. Life and death are twins, two sides of a coin. Death is intrinsic to life just like a shadow in light. The moment we take birth – death starts growing and life starts waning. Death is not dying but energy – light shift. The most important thing we must keep in mind is "death is not the greatest loss in life but huge loss is when life dies inside you while you are alive". Our human life is the most golden opportunity for self realization and attaining salvation. According to the Vedic culture there are four stages of life;

  • Brahmacharya: The bachelor and student life learning Vedas.
  • Grihastya: The householder life spending with wife and kids.
  • Vanaprasthi: The life of retirement to forest (the hermitage life)
  • Sanyasin: The holy sage or ascetic life wandering for truth and sharing life experience plus noble wisdom of Vedas.

DEATH

(Kaal in Sanskrit meaning 'time') is not the end of life but transformation of our energy just like we change our apartment. Death is lingering since the time of our birth like a shadow. We cannot separate death from life. There is life because death is still in dormant stage moving in parallel. Life span gets shorter and shorter whereas death grows gradually and blooms at the last breath of our life. Our soul chose the next birth place and womb according to our karmic result. We do not die so it is needless to drop tears on somebody's death. Do we really die? Let me ask you first- can you be sure that you are born? Can you experience your birth? You cannot. You can experience the birth of others and the death of others and you think that someday you shall be in the same state and but cannot experience your own death. But the philosophy of life in a true sense is so interesting that your own birth and death won’t be there as such has no beginning and no end. For simple understanding life can be called a journey from cradle to pyre but it is an endless journey. As we do not experience our birth- we do not experience death too; it is just the transformation of energy. Nobody suffers while we sleep similarly there is no pain in death beause it is the transitional phase from this life to another life. We need to flow with the natural phenomena and cosmic law. Our expression of life cannot be different than of birds, bees, butterflies, worms or fluttering cloud. If there is a difference- then it is of consciousness and tremendous opportunity of liberation because human life is the only stage that can attain salvation. The most important thing we must keep in mind is "death is not the greatest loss in life but huge loss is when life dies inside you while you are alive".

The ultimate Goal of our life

"Dharmartha Kaama Mokshanama Sariram Sadhanam Yata" which means to perform;

  • Dharma: (duty and responsibility) understanding its intrinsic quality. For instance, fire's duty is to burn and give light, water's duty is to quench thirst and give coolness, mirror's duty is to reflect the object as it is (no prejudice at all), Army's duty is to escort nation, Judge's duty is to give impartial judgment. We all have professional duty, social duty (to serve) and to pay the five debts (to the Creator, ancestors, Saints/ sages, parents, teachers).
  • Artha: Artha has to meaning in Sanskrit- to earn money and look for the purpose / meaning / value of something. Therefore, here 'Artha' denotes- looking for the real meaning of life at the same time earning money with ethics. Next, asking the reason to be here on earth; who am I? and what is the purpose of life?
  • Kama: experience all the passions/ dimension of life and act for good livelihood. Engage in selfless action without looking for money, name and fame. For an example, a doctor's duty is to save patient first. He should not think that he receives 300 dolors after the completion of operation.  We all receive the fruit of Karma sooner or later, no need to expect. Therefore, any selfless action done with pure intention is counted as Kama. We are here to perform some noble deeds - earth is the plateform.
  • Moksha: Moksha means liberation and to submerge oneself into the divine source or freeing from the cycle of birth and death. Indian Hindu belief says that we travel 8.4 million cocoon- living life of different creatures. Sometimes, we take birth in frog womb, sometimes spider life, sometimes eagle life etc. If we make mistake then one has to enter to the animal world. However, Sanatan Dharma says that humans cannot be a pig or frog at all. It is just like we take birth Human life is the most golden opportunity (as only humans have Chakras) to purify karma and attain salvation. Hence, this human body is meant to perform Dharma (duty and responsibility), Artha (seek meaning of life), Kaam (go for selfless action), Mokshanama (for attaining salvation), sariram (this body is), Sadhanam (in order to practice), Yata (is meant for). Therefore, we are here on earth to repay our past life Karma, serve with pure intention and attain salvation.

Anyway, the most important thing is how much happy you are; not how much money you earn. Health is the key of happiness. Health is not only the absence of disease but tht state of physical- mental and spiritual well- being. The quality of life is measured with sincere smiles which come from the core of our heart.

Stop analyzing life. It becomes more complicated-hectic. Just live a simple life because life is meant to experience and live whatsoever the circumstance. Make lemonade when you find a lemon and make pizza when cheese is available. Desire of unavailable things makes us unhappy. Crazy life, Hazy life, lazy life, busy life- cannot evoke humanity at all. And, the life without a pinch of happiness and humanity is a curse.
